Clyde began his career in insurance working for one of the Kemper Companies (remember the “Kemper Cavalry?”) as an adjuster, underwriter, and finally a commercial lines manager. In 1981, he left Kemper and joined the Moriearty Insurance Agency, where he spent five years as an independent agent. He and his wife, Sharon, founded Keystone Risk Management on November 1st, 1986…an achievement made all the more challenging by the birth of their first child 24 days later. Since then, Keystone has grown from a small mom-and-pop operation to a respected insurance organization supporting clients all over the country. Clyde serves on many community boards, is a supporter of the arts, a friend to Hobbits, and welcomes a friendly hand of bridge when time permits.
Carla learned the value of a dollar and the importance of customer service at a young age, when she helped manage her family’s hardware store. She spent 8 years in Property Management and Real Estate before joining our company in 2008. She became a partner in 2013. Her dedication to her clients, unwavering work ethic, and wicked sense of humor have made her a vital part of the Keystone family. Always seeking to improve her skills and knowledge, she is also earning her CIC and CPCU designations. Carla has 4 children, 2 stepchildren, and 2 grandchildren…with one more on the way!
Wes joined Keystone in 2014, and has quickly become an integral member of the team. In addition to his involvement in the insurance side of the company, he has also taken over all bookkeeping duties. A graduate of Western Illinois University, he currently has his Property/Casualty license, and is in the process of earning his CPCU designation. As the newest addition to the office, Wes is excited to learn and grow with Keystone.
Alison came to Keystone in 2014, and as our office administrator serves many functions that help keep our daily tasks and projects moving. She attended Kent State University, where she earned an Associates Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Her background includes time with Community Action Head Start as a Health Services Assistant and over 7 years of military service. In fact, she currently serves in the Air Force Reserves. Alison lives in Lincoln with her four daughters: Lauren, Emma, Evelyn, and Lillian…who is now driving and learning all about auto insurance!
